Do you need uh do you need another day? Make it stop you go, man.
SPEAKER_07Have this. It got ten thousand views. Created by yours, truly.
SPEAKER_04I cry once a year, okay?
SPEAKER_07We can't ever just do something simple. Left and right.
SPEAKER_04Full recovery.
SPEAKER_07Hi.
SPEAKER_06Do you need another day?
SPEAKER_07I do need another day. Very tired. Yes. Tag do was good though. Much fun and merriment and mischiefs was had. Yes. Yes. And you say your birthday trip away.
SPEAKER_06Uh excellent. Honestly, I can't uh get the point. Got to go and in my old man age do the things now that are not as crazy. I actually do enjoy just going out, Chanel. I usually find a spot to go. Uh nice. Uh usually kind of not uh like camping or new t-shirt by any chance.
SPEAKER_07Maybe yeah. You still have a sticker.
SPEAKER_06Clearly, Connor and I are both struggling with getting dressed right now. Um, so we usually go find a place to go hike or some new scenic um spot. Don't mind any of that shit. That's fine. I'm a fucking idiot. Uh professional.
SPEAKER_07Professional. Yes.
SPEAKER_06Anyway, uh great time. I like to lounge around, hang out, chill, go on a hike, be with nature for a bit, get the hell away from people. Um as much concrete as possible. I think is the idea. Uh touching grass, touching earth, trees.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, all those all those good things.
SPEAKER_06So we did go to the uh Mesa National Monument if you just go look that up. Uh 23 mile drive of just awesome. Uh phenomenal canyons that no picture can do justice to. You know, you all have probably seen some place like that where it just it's not the same as being there. Yeah. Lively. Yeah. Terrifying. But awesome. In spots. Super scary. Same.
SPEAKER_07No. Fair enough. Uh crack Krakow is genuinely it it's in Poland for the uneducated Americans that don't know. Um, which is not part of England either. It's a separate part of Europe. But yeah, Krakow is a beautiful city. Um the people there were nothing but Some sometimes a bit pushy. Don't get me wrong. Like obviously as as the as the evenings rolled on and they know the tourists, or sometimes they don't know the tourists, and they come up to you and speak Polish, and you're like, um English? And then they switch, and then the smile comes on their face because they're like, oh, you're here for a party. We can get you into the clubs, we can get and they just keep going, and even you go, no, no, I'm good. Sure, like we'll get you two beers, three beers, four No, honestly, uh five beers. Five free beers? No. No, we have plans. But maybe later.
SPEAKER_06So you can say you're makes sense though, if you're you know that you're crack out and crack out.
SPEAKER_07Yes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Sorry. Uh it's it's that's fine.
SPEAKER_06It's uh Oh, I think I need you closer. Oh, you need me closer.
SPEAKER_07That's I need something. I'll tell you what I need. I need episode 43 of Did You Say Something to Start. Did I get it right first time? No, you didn't. No.
SPEAKER_06Because episode 43 was uh the ocean saga of Epic that we just released.
SPEAKER_07Um I'll tell you what I need. I need episode 44 of Did You Say Something to Start so we can listen to more impatient. Yes. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_06Ah, Webby Ren's day. Yeah. All good. Uh if you haven't checked out the last couple episodes, please do. We've been reacting to all of the uh new impatient songs, uh two at a time. Uh kind of our way where we've talked about it a few times where the songs don't go together, but yet they do. Uh we talked about the range um and all of that to show uh you've seen Connor and I go from laughing hysterically to uh bawling our eyes out curled up in a ball in our booth uh a few times. Or vice versa.
SPEAKER_07That's just on a normal episode.
SPEAKER_06Take it to the extreme uh when it when it comes to Red and Webby, thank you. And then we've been just uh going on a journey with Epic the Musical. Um that has been Yeah, please just do go check those videos out. And I do have to say I think The Ocean saga is is my favorite thus far of the three sagas I've listened to. Uh I just agree. I agree quite a bit.
SPEAKER_07Uh before we do get into the music, however, it is that time of recording, that lovely time of the year where Matt's just had his birthday and my birthday is literally tomorrow. So happy birthday for the other day, sir. Uh this is your yearly I love you, I care for you, and you are genuinely an amazing human being. And I got through it without pulling faces.
SPEAKER_06Thank you.
SPEAKER_07You're welcome.
SPEAKER_06Much appreciated. Uh, and happy uh upcoming birthday tomorrow. Um I'm excited that you'll be uh graduating school and becoming an adult. Yeah, very good, sir. You're good to go.
SPEAKER_07And uh I get my results. See what I can do with my life.
SPEAKER_05Because Hogwarts is real, right? That really happens in the UK. Like all the British kids go to Hogwarts, right? At some point?
SPEAKER_07Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah, no, I've I've got my my wizarding letter through the post. You should show us that sometime on the show. No, I doesn't show it to muggles.
SPEAKER_06Did you just call me a muggle? I did. Ouch. You know what? You said a real a lot of really mean, hurtful things to me. That even fancants have come out with and been like, whoa, that was out of line. That, though. You take that back. You take that shit.
SPEAKER_07I don't know that I can. So the first song we're gonna listen to is uh Madhouse. Which is perfect. Welcome to this. And the Madhouse, right? This album is about us. It is. Oh, in fact, isn't the whole album the whole album releases today. Later on today for me and still tomorrow for you. We should have waited. We could have just no. We'll we'll do the rest of the album properly. We'll are our way, I say. Uh, we're rambling. I'm tired, it's late, early, however you want to call it. I'm slightly sleep deprived and recovering. But anyway, Madhouse, inpatient, Renum Webby. Are you ready? Oh my god. I was born ready.
unknownGood.
SPEAKER_07Three, two, one go. It is I don't think I'll ever get Sorry. I don't think I'll ever get bored of Ren starting a song like that. I just I lied. I wasn't ready.
SPEAKER_03He wasn't ready. He needs some milk.
SPEAKER_07Uh beautiful piano. Yep. That is beautiful piano. Um We're gonna go back to Ren coming in with the vocals and enjoy that. I'm loving before I do that, I uh I love the art design on this.
SPEAKER_06This is looking pretty good. Yeah, when it first opened, I thought it looked like um kind of like the old Ninja Turtles games on SNES. Uh when it very first came in. It almost had that same art style of like a video game, and then I was like, oh no, it's an animatic. Okay. But yeah. All right, here we go.
SPEAKER_01We'll twist it, it's the one that we've got.
SPEAKER_07Oh, that's like Oh, it's it's retro. It's a big band. The beat. Yeah, but it's also got like um it it gives a bit this is it this bit here where they're pissing on the wall.
SPEAKER_01Let's rub the rooms home, the hall's my playground. We don't even be in prison as well of piss and the vinegar when plans to make it at the It's got that like kind of nineties hip hop flow to it.
SPEAKER_06It's even older than that. You're you're you're more like 70s like jazz um. Oh definitely jazz influence.
SPEAKER_04Um, what is that from?
SPEAKER_07Do you like jazz? Is it the same one? Nope. Is it Batman?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. It's a joker.
SPEAKER_07Yes.
SPEAKER_06Um you want to know how I got these scars. But it's got the a little bit of everything. My partner is a drinker Well, we gotta do that now. We can one hundred percent do that, that's fine. Mat Man and Coker. All right. So Yeah, you got it. Uh but it's got the it's got like um some of the 50s kind of melodies and stuff with the jazz and all that fifty, sixties, seventies. Um and the the No you're good. Uh it's it's like the Motown a little bit. Um it's it's got to it. Um and then the big band comes in with it too, and you get all of that. But the flutes and the clarinets um and the trombons, and you can just you can it's I don't know. Yeah, it's it's just nice. It's different. They hit a different they they mash a different like couple's genres in every song. And and it's amazing.
SPEAKER_07What I what I really like about this whole album so far is the fact that every song has a completely different feel.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Like so uh you know, a lot of bands when they release an album, like the songs are different, but they all have roughly the same feel. You know it's all off the same album. They would you know, it might mix it up from album to album, but these are so wildly different, like no two songs sound the same so far. Right. Except maybe Neurodivergent and um Instigator? Uh Instigator. They might be the closest sounding. Even then. But even then. But this this is This is fun. Yeah. Yeah. This is f this is really fun.
SPEAKER_06Uh I do love in this in the in the animations in this too of uh the lyrics showing up in all of the things in the animation, like Ren's lyrics coming up in the door c when he's swiping the security card. You know what I mean? All of that. Them obviously pissing on the wall, but then you know what I mean? That's on the wall. Uh all of that. And just I love the and it's a common theme in hip-hop and and rap to uh uh that you're the the villain or the criminal or however it's said to be. You know what I mean? Because rap is looked down upon that way, right? But like if you're a rapper, you must be a gangster. You know what I mean? You must be a foul thing. Which is not the case, right, for a lot of people. Um Or maybe they were, and that's where they came from. But they I love how they just Webby has always just leaned into that as hard as possible. But and and Ren kinda wavers depending on the song and his mood and his intent and what you know what I mean? It's so very different. Even on his all of his solo stuff. It really depends on where how his what light he's he's shining himself in, right? Or what shadow for that for that matter.
SPEAKER_07He's he's one of the few artists that are um uh one of the guys at work, um we were talking about music, and I said how I'm polyjamorous and I like to listen to a bit of everything. He went, Oh, it except for on Sundays when I'm gen j genre fluid. That was it.
SPEAKER_06Genre fluid.
SPEAKER_07I was like, stealing that, love that. Yeah. Genre fluid. Okay. I think Ren is quite a genre fluid artist. Absolutely. He he he I think he would excel in any genre, um, and he does.
SPEAKER_06I mean everything he's touched so far, it's just nice. He really handles it and respects the genre well, and and you can tell he looks at the uh and and pays it he's does his research. He's a student of the game, as they say, as much of the best artists are as they're students of the game, right? Yes.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah. 100% for you in this show. Yes, of course. Allow me to hit play. It's like it's sorry. No, you go. Sorry. Oh, no, no, we're good actually. Fallout inspired.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what it's giving me. There you go. Good good shout, because I couldn't put my thumb on it either, like exactly the animation style. But you're absolutely right, that's Fallout style, for sure. And and it's it was the old cartoons.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, old cartoons, Fallout. It was this so bar for bar, I out bar bar low health. As soon as you said bar low health, I was like, it's a video yep, video game, Fallout. You can see Vault Boy doing the old thumb.
SPEAKER_06And you can hear in the music more of the eight-bit uh especially in this in this next in this transition that we just jumped into. Now they're getting a lot of those high tones, like the eight-bit games.
SPEAKER_07Oh, I liked the I liked the um the the what's the show? I started watching it because it was big. It's on Amazon Prime, it's kind of like uh anime but musical. Uh Has Been Hotel. Oh. I want to say. Yeah. Uh about that. Alistair uh Alistair. Alistair. Whatever his name is.
SPEAKER_05That's what it's like watching MSU.
SPEAKER_06That is the biggest mind fuck trip thing that I have watched in a long time. Like, I was like, there was a lot of the right thing. Yeah. That's been Reg.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I'll just check it now. Wait a minute. Where the hell have you been? I've been here the whole time, Matt. It's been like a month, Reg. Well, my uh my boss decided to disappear on me, so I've just been holding down the fort. You don't know where he is. Nope.
SPEAKER_06Well, his caravan's gone, so I don't know if he's coming back.
SPEAKER_07Let's not get bogged down in who said what and who's where. We have music to listen to. Reg, thank you very much for checking that it was has been hotel. Appreciate it. Go back to doing whatever you're doing. Okay, boss, we'll do. We'll we'll track him down later. Whatever. Uh yes. The Alistair kinda commentator voice. That's that's what it is. Yeah. Good shout there, too. Uh thank you. I kind of did a similar effect in session nine, the official nobilization. Anyway, go check that out on Audible. That's me narrating it, by the way. I did the sound design too with a little bit of input from this guy.
SPEAKER_00It's the way we got together. It's the greatest going on.
SPEAKER_07Is he paying homage to uh uh the jungle book? Zam the king of the swingers, oh the jungle VIP.
SPEAKER_06Maybe.
SPEAKER_05Maybe.
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm the king of prescriptions, the compound pharmacy. Don't place your best what's at the facts will you get it's on my story.
SPEAKER_06You ain't never heard of it like me.
SPEAKER_07Fucking fat one, why not? Shout. Thanks.
SPEAKER_04It was the uh it was the musical changing you.
SPEAKER_06Nice shout, dude. Damn. Yeah. I thought that the like I had the thought. I I wasn't thinking about it singing. I thought that the flute sounded like it. I was like, damn, it sounds like jungle book quite a bit, but same era-ish around of the where the music comes from, right? But yeah, nice, nice.
SPEAKER_07Thank you. Thank you. I'm gonna we'll go back from there.
SPEAKER_01Well I'm gonna king the compound pharmacy. Don't face your best, what's that the fact for you guys? The doctor says with all these magic bills. Yeah, I will get the best. I'm it's we go down like the band on the dynamic.
SPEAKER_04Oh dude.
SPEAKER_06That was just enjoyable all the way through. I mean, we could say uh could say all the same stuff that we've said about all the songs thus far. It's all there. Yeah, of course. It's all there for sure. I love love this tone. We said it in the beginning when we stopped. These genre changes and mashups, how well they can just do it. They can just say they can sing and rap to like anything, pretty much. Uh great shout at the end there with the jungle book, because they they carried that all the way throughout the end of that pretty much. Yeah, yeah. It kind of switches up towards the end. But uh Webby as usual, filleting some of those lyrics like out of nowhere, just boom-boom, boom, boom, boom, hit some bars and some syllables, and you're like, damn. But it's so enjoyable, you're just the whole time you're just kind of like oh, my leg did not stop bouncing the entire time.
SPEAKER_07Like, this is this is fantastic, man. Again?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, just happy go lucky. Went by too fast. Yeah. Yeah, you know? It was only not a very long song, I don't think.
SPEAKER_07The data. There's too much of it.
SPEAKER_02That's okay. Sassvia build.
SPEAKER_07Sorry, just a quick ad but I refuse to pay for YouTube premium. Fair. We'll be right back.
SPEAKER_06Not that our show isn't fully based out of YouTube. Low budget? Thank you, YouTube. We are not bad mouthing our platform. No, we're hoping at some point to be partners with, but you know.
SPEAKER_07If you would like to give us free premium subscriptions for all the work we do, we won't say no. And I might even start wearing a t-shirt that just says YouTube is great. I'll do that when we are fully sponsored. Done. Wouldn't like wouldn't just the the the little thing the the play plaque that you've got however many subscribers, that'd just look great there. Anything?
SPEAKER_06I might make one. Yeah, you're gonna have to make it out of paper. How the fuck would it plaque actually hang on your blanket?
unknownShh.
SPEAKER_07Semantics. We don't need to. Uh we'll tackle that bridge when it comes to it. Hopefully by then I'll have actually got round to building the external walls of my booth. We'll go from there. But until then, a paper one will do. Uh I wanted to say something and I can't uh nope, it's gone. Can't remember. Thank you for yanking that thought away from me. Nope. We're gonna move on to the next one. That's how we're gonna roll this one out. Okay. Uh so this one is called Bad Company. Um I I I got no idea what to expect. I never do with these guys. The only way to find out here. I just want to comment on the choreography so far. That's that's fucking brilliant. Um Yeah, I I'm loving the fact that the last one was fallout based, I'm I'm or inspired at least, the the animatic and and the musical tones from that sort of era. And then they've obviously had their prison break, and now we've come to real life people again in the what looks to be a prison courtyard, uh, with all the impatients having escaped and trying to make a break for it properly. I just like I like the style change, but still continuing the story.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Um I did have a question for you too, because he dressed very similar. Um in Vincent's tale as well. So what I was wondering is, is that kind of jail garb over there? Is it like grey sweats? Do you know? Like, is that what prisoners wear over there? Do they wear jumpsuits like our prisoners do?
SPEAKER_07I think we wear jumpsuits over here. I sh I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Because he's I mean, they're all dressed the same as he was back even at Vincent's Tale. That's what he was wearing, with those gray sweats, the white tank. You know what I mean? I'm wondering if that's or if that's just what he's kind of threatening. Because he's a great callback uh king as well. He loves to call back to the case. So I could see him calling back to Vincent's tale because it is impatient. Because you think about it, Vincent was right in the same place as an impatient, right?
SPEAKER_07Mm-hmm. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So uh there was a lyric I'm looking for.
SPEAKER_06Uh there was a lot of lyrics that were insane right there.
SPEAKER_07There was there was a lot of lyrics there. Damn, he said some shit. Yeah. It was uh this one just after this.
SPEAKER_01My friends say I should get it together. Got some substances I love as much as my family members, and you can always count on family to get through the weather.
SPEAKER_06It's the second part of the bar is you can always count on family to get you through the weather. When it's like, yep, you can definitely count on your addiction and your substances to get you through anything. And that's how addiction works and talks to you. So that was just brilliantly done. That was the line that got me too. So thank you for that's just like damn. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07No, you're all good. Your problems when you give in to the problems, it fixes them. But there it's also the reason that you have the problems. Yes. Right. Yeah. It's a fucking sick and twisted idea.
SPEAKER_06I think Ren said something like that as well. I remember you commenting almost that exact same thing.
SPEAKER_07I also like a callback, sue me.
SPEAKER_06Oh no, not not a bad thing. I just it was like that triggered that deja vu thing where I was like, we we've had this conversation before, but we we're wearing different color shirts, so I know it's not the same.
SPEAKER_07Um we hope.
SPEAKER_06Oh no, that's yeah.
SPEAKER_07Oh, we're matching without matching. Fucks. I have hair, you don't. Like, yeah, it's just opposites. I have height.
SPEAKER_06I said I have height, you don't. I've got muscle, you don't. I have a cat, you don't. Would you like to keep going? No.
SPEAKER_07Because I know where it's gonna went up. I got about three more chambered up, ready to go. I got a fully functioning liver, do you? Yeah. As far as I know. I don't have it looking a bit yellow there, mate.
SPEAKER_06Yep, we gotta we gotta continue because the one I was gonna say was not. That was not we're gonna cut here and he's gonna tell me. I was gonna say I have a fully functioning family.
SPEAKER_07That's a good one. Don't don't you you keep that in. That was a good one. Oh fuck. Uh yeah, let's uh can always count on family to get you through the weather. Continuing.
SPEAKER_01Let's go. Ouch.
SPEAKER_07Damn. Honestly, honestly, it's like Webby's lyrics are for you. Oh yeah, hundred percent. That's three and uh and Ren's lyrics are for me. Damn. The the man's vocal control is just insane.
SPEAKER_06Those were just nasty, like not nice to hit me with without warning me first of how well you're gonna carry that fry and then just control it so angelically. Like he's his his touch on the notes. It's just he's got the Midas touch. He really does. Man, he he damn that man can sing.
SPEAKER_07That man can sing, that man can act, that man can do humor, he can rap, he can various fucking styles. Right? Play instruments, like all of them, apparently.
SPEAKER_06And this is just pretty, too, the way that it dropped into the blues. And it was almost like the uh like the epic stuff we're talking about, where like they almost have their own instruments as well. Like Ren's songs are very more reggae and and rock and guitar style.
SPEAKER_07Do we need to go back to the end of Tarantula right now? Or I'll do it. If you haven't seen it, go back and check out the tarantula and um smoking gun uh smoking gun video we did because Matt uh go right to the end of the episode. Uh because yeah, there's some special bonus footage at the end of that one for you guys.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I uh just as you said that I reached down and pushed it back into place. Um it's there, but it kind of hovers off the wall every once in a while. So at least he's in a better place than it was. Yes. And no, you don't have to go back to that, because damn. But uh it kind of seems that way though, right? We're like, and then Webby obviously is more of the hip-hop beats and the rap beats and the and the k grimier style. Not to say that Ren isn't grimy when he need wants to be, but in inpatient, you've kind of noticed that Ren is the goofier light for the most part. And then he is the heart touch otherwise, where then he's then he's gonna pluck your heart strings at the same time, right? And then Webby is just dark gritty. And then that's his humor and his approach, and he's the villain most of the time, like in things and the darker one. Um but if you pay attention to Webby's lyrics, there's a lot of light in his lyrics as well. You just have to really pay attention to what he's saying and how he says it, right? Because when he's he's not like when we went back and talked about the family and the weather, he's not toting that that's a good thing. He's just toting about the reality of how it feels and how it might give you an understanding if you have a loved one that's an addict and you're not yourself to how it is for them, like there's no other reality. Um they're not doing most of the stuff on purpose. They don't even know they're doing it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Anyway, I I love the um the realness of their lyrics. The the speaking about real issues and it's yeah, it's just it's such a great project that they've done, and I hope they do more together. I really do.
SPEAKER_06Uh agreed. I don't know how I don't know how they're not. I think the fans are gonna lose their minds if they don't drop another album in the next year or two. Like the fans will go on guys, you are the dynamic duo now. Come on! It's been it's been two weeks.
SPEAKER_07Where's where's the next album? Why why is it not done yet? For Christmas, maybe? Because if this is for our birthday, then surely or birthday.
SPEAKER_06And they're clearly following our lives. Uh this is a monument to Dis and Connor and Matt and our lives taking off. Thank you guys for providing soundtrack for us. We very much appreciate it. Yeah, it's great.
SPEAKER_07It's been it's been an emotional roller coaster, sure to say the least. Anyway, I'm not done on that ride yet, so let us continue.
SPEAKER_01Take my combo back.
SPEAKER_06Those songs felt like they were like thirty seconds each.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, this this show is gonna be less than forty minutes.
SPEAKER_06That one. And I and I think obviously as we go back, we used to go back and then.
SPEAKER_07That's what I wanted to check. What did I find more fans of the scenario? Thank you, YouTube, for providing such a lovely platform for our podcast.
SPEAKER_06Much better, thank you. Uh but that one that one you're right, like as soon as it's when you stopped it and said the lyrics are you know red for you, the lyrics for you, webby for me. Um then I you know, because that song was like Sam. Like you were talking about, uh, how he's singing, how smooth it was. The whole song is that smooth. That that's why it feels like it goes by that that quickly. Like it's it's so it's gra it's graceful, honestly. Like the beat, the melody, everything harmonizes so well together. But then yeah, think about the lyrics, I'm like, this is a bit of a scatter. I'm like, I'm like, this is this is kind of getting me a little bit. Where like it's like you said, that realism where like they do the the dreamy, funny, comical this is kind of what it's like to be in the haze or whatever situation you're in, and then bang they punch you in the mouth with the reality of then when you wake up and you're in prison or you're in this place, and all of a sudden it's like, oh. Uh shit.
SPEAKER_07Um song length is what I was gonna check because you said that it has just gone by so quickly. Uh Bad Company is three minutes three seconds, and Madhouse is three minutes thirty-five seconds. So yeah, they are very very quick songs.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I mean, kind of more standard length, right? For most music is about three three, three and a half minutes song, right? Two to three minutes song.
SPEAKER_07I mean this masterpiece is four minutes and forty-six seconds. Um, so yeah, no, uh compared to some of the stuff, yeah, they're short for sure.
SPEAKER_06I can't I can't not get stinked face every time I hear that, no matter how many times I've got to do it. I know. Like every time I hear it, because it's just it's so grating in the best way.
SPEAKER_07I know I have to whenever this comes on in the car on shuffle and I'm not expecting it, I I know I have to go like listen to this bit through, then put it back and listen to it again. I get it. Yeah. Uh that that was down the road for those of you that don't know, I'm sure you do, but we've already covered that one. Go back and check that video out, because Jesus Christ, what a fucking song that is. Um Yeah, no, uh the the bad company, the choreography throughout that as well. That video was was very well done. The the the dances, excellent, the story told through the dance as well. Like at the end there with the the security guard that's obviously like, eh, whatever. Go just go, I'm gonna walk that way, turn a blind eye to it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and like them overtaking him and then kind of doing the weekend of Bernie's thing with like, you know, she grabs his hand and is like making his hand wave and and all those little things. But yeah, like you said, the the story was told very well through the choreography. The dance in that was freaking awesome, actually. It was very it was hard to do either. It was hard to pay attention to the lyrics because I'm pay because I'm watching it, and then I'm watching the video and I'm like, oh shit, I'm missing what the hell they're rapping about or singing about.
SPEAKER_07Wait, what are they talking about? Wait, what are they dancing about? Talking, dancing, talking, dancing. Yeah. And Ren just Honestly, like, I I've really grown to enjoy Webby. I know that you're you've been a longtime fan of his uh for a lot of his stuff. Um and I I fucking get it. I do need to go and listen to his own material. Properly. But the way the whenever Wren comes on, he just captivates all of my attention. It captures all of my attention. Like it it it's it's an ability that not many artists have, right? I don't think I don't think I've skipped a Ren song when it comes on on Shuffle. There's songs that come on and I love them, but I'm just like, eh, skip. I've been skipped.
SPEAKER_06When we were on the drive, Chanel's like, hey, do you want to listen to do you want to listen to Impatient?
SPEAKER_05What have you been listening to?
SPEAKER_06And I was like, yes, but no, because if that part's on and I'm not paying attention, I'm gonna be so angry.
SPEAKER_04Don't tempt me, Frodo. Thank you.
SPEAKER_07That was very critic. It just works so well. Fool of a took.
SPEAKER_06That was what was in my head after that.
SPEAKER_07So thank you for fulfilling that. You are welcome, sir. I I felt it. I felt the brain cell telling me to do it. Uh yeah. That them's some good songs. I'm gonna add those to my Spotify songs right a fucking way and listen to those tomorrow. Definitely.
SPEAKER_06Um so be careful with that tomorrow because you're gonna open that and find a surprise of the rest of the albums. So uh I won't listen. I won't. Do you realize that there's a possibility that we're not shooting the show again for two or three weeks? And that means neither one of us can listen to the rest of the album. Yep. Yep. Unless we break unless we break the the pact that we had on this album.
SPEAKER_07Nope. Nope. I am a man of my word. I will not listen to anything that hasn't been that we haven't covered yet.
SPEAKER_05I'm not gonna be able to open my phone.
SPEAKER_07You'll be fine. You'll be like, nope. Be fine.
SPEAKER_06Nope. Alright, let's switch over to this app. Nope.
SPEAKER_07No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Uh that was I think I think that's unless there's anything else you desperately want to talk about.
SPEAKER_06No, I think that's pretty much it. Uh go check out the past videos as always. Like, share, subscribe, hit the bell so that you get alerted when there's new video content. Go check out our shorts. Um go check out. Yeah, yeah, please comment. Uh the comments have been great. Keep commenting. Um we we and those of you who have been commenting, we pretty much reply to every single comment. We really go through them all. We do read them all. We it means a lot to us that anybody even kicked. It really does shit enough to comment on our little podcast.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. So you've taken the time you've taken the time to comment to us. We do want to take the time to comment back to you. If we haven't replied, just know that we will get round to it. And I'm sure that you can all appreciate life, be life in. Um so yeah, finding time to sit down. Because I genuinely want to sit and read. I don't want to just go through and like, like, like, like, like, and thank you very much. Thank you for the commenting. Thank you. I want to read the the comment properly that you've taken the time to put there so that I can understand it and maybe relate to it or just you know, enjoy the comment as you've intended me to, and give your reply back that hopefully you enjoy. And I know Matt's the same. So we will get to all the comments, just bear with us. Whilst at least, you know, before we go astronomical and worldwide, because that's all obviously gonna happen. And then, well, we won't have the time. We'll have too many comments. Jake will need a job. So I don't know if I want him replying to the comments though.
SPEAKER_08Thanks very much. Thanks for noticing.
SPEAKER_06Is that almost a spit tape? Yeah. And because a brummy eeure will never now not be a thing in my brain. I'm so sorry for that.
SPEAKER_08Notice in me. Thanks for noticing. It's alright. What is it matter anyway? It's all shit. It's all shape anyway. It's all grey and bleak, just like Birmingham.
SPEAKER_04Did my balls finally drop? Jesus Christ. And on that note, uh, do all the things, check us out, check out MeridaFoolproductions.com.
SPEAKER_05Wait, check it out!
SPEAKER_07Beyond the and speaking of dropping, look out in a couple of weeks for the next episode to drop.
SPEAKER_04You stopped me for that. I did. Yeah, go ahead. Okay, fair enough. Check out.
SPEAKER_06Uh there is a uh buzzprout.disc podcast.com. If you want to check out the official discs uh webpage, we also have narrativeflowproductions.com. You can check out connerlewisvo.com, mattmangumvo.com, and mattmangum.com. Uh whichever one takes you to my site. If one of them doesn't work, you know which one it is. Yeah, whatever. There's a thing going on with that. Uh and then also uh Chanel Brown VA.com uh is another spot. So um yeah, all the things. We love you very much on TikTok, Instagram, all the socials, yeah, uh hit up comments everywhere. Tell us content you would like to see. Uh we need comments, more comments on the metal. We had a few comments of people saying that that's something that they would like us to do is to react to our classic and our modern favorites. Uh we want to get yours as the viewers, and then we'll do some reactions to those as well because Con has always been introducing me to music I've never heard of before. Um and uh I've actually done the same for him a few times. So it's been interesting. Um it's good to share the the the love and the culture of the music that we all love. So uh as always, I find I find you can always tell you. There's gonna be one more thing, just like there is every episode closing. One of us will have one more thing.
SPEAKER_07Yes. You can tell how you you can tell a lot of why somebody is the way they are from the music that they love and the music that has inspired them and helped carve their journey through life. That's all I wanted to say. Music's very fucking powerful. I love it.
SPEAKER_06Beautifully said. Nope, back to you.
SPEAKER_07I don't want to sit here silently, Matt, please. It's not good content. Great content. But it's not good content. We're just gonna fast forward this bit for you guys.
SPEAKER_05Well, that's the show. So as always, this you later.
